Terms and conditions of sale

This translation is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

These terms and conditions of sale (the “Terms”) apply to any purchase of a game account on the Space Syndicate store, whether you pay from the listing page or through a payment link received in a Discord ticket. Read them before paying: you accept them by checking the “I accept the terms and conditions of sale” box before payment, or by paying through a link received in your ticket.

Key points

• All-inclusive price: the displayed price, in euros, is the price you pay. No fees are added to it.
• Payment on the website, on the store's secure checkout page, hosted by Shopify, after logging in with Discord.
• Delivery on Discord: a private ticket opens after payment and the team gives you the account login details there, never on the website.
• Cancellation before delivery: as long as the account has not been delivered to you, you can cancel your order and receive a full refund (point 7).
• Space Syndicate 7-day guarantee after delivery: full refund or an equivalent account if the previous owner takes the account back, if the account does not match the listing, if the login details do not work, or if the publisher bans the account for a reason that predates delivery (point 8).
• Risk specific to games: game rules prohibit or restrict the transfer of accounts, and a publisher may suspend a transferred account (point 11).

In these Terms, “Space Syndicate” and “we” refer to this company; “you” refers to the buyer.

2. Purpose and role of Space Syndicate

Space Syndicate offers existing online video game accounts, currently for WarUniverse, Red Galaxy and Nova Horizon, put up for sale by the players who hold them. Buying an account means receiving the login details that allow you to take control of it: username, password and, depending on the game, the associated email address.

The account is sold by its holder, who has given Space Syndicate a mandate to sell it in their name and on their behalf. Space Syndicate concludes the sale for them, collects the price and delivers the account to you; Space Syndicate is paid by a commission included in the displayed price. Unless otherwise stated on the listing, the seller is a private individual who is not acting in a professional capacity: the rights that European Union law grants to consumers do not apply, as such, to the contract concluded with them.

Space Syndicate is your sole point of contact: we collect the payment, we deliver the account to you and we commit directly to you to comply with these Terms, in particular cancellation before delivery (point 7), the 7-day guarantee (point 8) and refunds (point 10).

To buy, you must be of legal age and use your own Discord account. If you are a minor, you may only buy with the prior consent of your legal representative (parent or guardian). We may ask you to provide proof of this before delivery; failing that, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

3. Listings

• Each listing describes a unique account: game, server, level, ships, equipment and other features.
• These features are declared by the seller. Space Syndicate does not check them one by one.
• Some large values (experience, honor, in-game currencies…) may be rounded down for display.
• Generic visuals are illustrations of the games, not screenshots of the account. Only the screenshots attached to a listing show the account.
• An account changes with the game updates decided by its publisher.
• A listing can only be bought on the website if it displays a price and the “Buy this account” button. “Available to buy soon” means that it does not have a price yet.

4. Prices

• Prices are displayed in euros, all taxes included: no tax is added at payment.
• The displayed price is the total price you pay: no service, processing or delivery fee is added to it. The only costs that remain payable by you are any fees your own bank may charge, for example for a payment in another currency.
• The price is set by Space Syndicate. It includes the Space Syndicate commission, which is not itemized. It is the same for all buyers, except for an individual discount.
• Space Syndicate may grant a discount to a specific buyer, through a personal code or through a payment link sent in their ticket. The discounted amount is displayed before payment. This discount does not apply to other buyers.
• The price of a listing may change. The applicable price is the one on the checkout page at the time you pay; a later change does not affect a paid order.

5. Order and payment

Buying from the listing page

1. On the listing page, click “Buy this account”.
2. Log in with Discord. You must be a member of the Space Syndicate Discord server, with no pending membership and no current timeout: this is where the account will be delivered to you. The website checks this before payment.
3. In the confirmation window, check the summary (game, reference, price) and check the “I accept the terms and conditions of sale” box.
4. You are directed to the store's secure checkout page, hosted by Shopify. There you can check and correct your information before paying. The accepted payment methods are those displayed on that page. We never see your card details.

Buying from a ticket

The team may also send you, in a Discord ticket, a link to the same checkout page. The amount is the price displayed on the listing, less, where applicable, the discount granted to you.

Conclusion of the sale

• The sale is concluded when your payment is accepted. You then receive an order confirmation email at the address provided during payment.
• An order covers a single account. To buy several accounts, place several orders.
• Each account exists in a single copy. If someone paid for it before you, the checkout page refuses your order.
• If your payment method is deferred (for example a bank transfer), the order is only confirmed upon receipt of the payment. If the payment fails, no amount is due and the order may be cancelled.
• We may refuse or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, in particular suspected fraud. Any amount collected is then refunded in full.
• For an order of €120 or more, we keep the written record of it for ten years and give you access to it on simple request.

6. Account delivery

• After payment confirmation, a private ticket automatically opens in your name on the Space Syndicate Discord server, in the game's purchase category, and you are mentioned in it. Only you and the Space Syndicate team have access to it. If you paid through a link received in a ticket, the delivery takes place in that ticket.
• A team member gives you the account login details there. They are never communicated on the website or by direct message. Depending on the game, the team may ask you in the ticket for the email address to associate with the account.
• The delivery takes place at the date and time of the message that sends you the login details in the ticket. It starts the guarantee period (point 8) and ends the possibility of cancelling the order (point 7).
• Time frame: the delivery generally takes place within minutes or hours of payment confirmation, and no later than 24 hours afterwards.
• If the account is not delivered to you within this time frame, you can request cancellation of the order in your ticket or by email: you are then refunded in full (point 10).
• Remain a member of the Discord server until the delivery. If you have left it or if Discord is unavailable, we write to you at the email address provided during payment to arrange the delivery.
• Secure the account as soon as it is delivered: log in, check that it matches the listing, change the password and, if the game associates an email address with the account, check that it is yours or replace it. Enable two-factor authentication if the game offers it. Do not share these login details. These steps are conditions of the guarantee (point 8).
• Report any problem in your ticket as soon as you notice it.

7. Cancellation before delivery

As long as the account login details have not been delivered to you in your ticket, you can cancel your order at any time, without having to give a reason: say so in your ticket or write to charles@w4d0.fr, with your order number. You are refunded in full (point 10).

Once the account has been delivered, a change of mind does not give rise to a refund. You remain covered by the 7-day guarantee (point 8) and by the refund cases in point 9.

8. Space Syndicate 7-day guarantee

We guarantee each account bought on Space Syndicate for 7 days from its delivery in your ticket. This guarantee is a free commitment by Space Syndicate. It is in addition to the rights the law grants you, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity where it applies, and does not reduce them.

What is covered

• The previous owner takes the account back (change of password or email, recovery through the game's support).
• The account does not match the listing on a highlighted feature (level, ships, equipment…).
• The login details provided do not work.
• The game publisher suspends or bans the account during these 7 days for a reason that predates delivery: an act of the previous owner or the state of the account before the sale.

What is not covered

• A problem caused after delivery by the buyer or by a person to whom they entrusted the account, including a suspension or ban: cheating, sharing or reselling the account, breach of the game rules.
• A problem resulting from the account not being secured upon delivery, for example a password or email address left unchanged.
• A discrepancy due to the rounding of large values mentioned in point 3, or to a game update after delivery.
• A claim made more than 7 days after delivery.

How to claim under the guarantee

1. Write in your ticket describing the problem and attach a screenshot if you can. If your ticket is closed, open a ticket on the Space Syndicate Discord server or write to charles@w4d0.fr, with your order number.
2. The 7-day period is suspended while your claim is being examined.
3. We reply in writing within 48 hours, with our decision and the reason for it. If we refuse, we state the exclusion that applies.
4. If the claim is justified, you choose: a full refund of the price paid, or an equivalent account if we have one to offer you. The refund is issued within 48 business hours of our decision.

In the event of a refund, you stop using the account and give us back access to it if you still have it.

9. Unique accounts and conflicts

• Each account is sold only once: it is taken off sale, on the website and on Discord, as soon as the first payment is made.
• If, despite these precautions, the account cannot be delivered to you (paid for by another buyer before you, sold through another channel, taken off sale by its seller, login details that became invalid before delivery), we notify you and refund you in full within 48 business hours of the finding. We may offer you an equivalent account, which you are free to decline.
• If you paid twice for the same account, the duplicate payment is refunded to you in full.

10. Refunds

• A refund covers the full price you paid, less any discount, at no cost to you.
• It is made using the payment method used for the order, unless you expressly agree to another method.
• We issue it within 48 business hours of our decision, of the finding of a conflict or of your cancellation request.
• The time it takes for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your bank or the payment provider.

11. Games, publishers and liability

Space Syndicate is independent. It is not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by the game publishers.

The terms of use of the games offered prohibit or restrict the sale, purchase and transfer of accounts. The publisher may, at any time and without Space Syndicate being able to oppose it, suspend, restrict or delete a transferred account, including because of the transfer itself. By buying an account, you accept this risk. Read the game's terms before buying.

Space Syndicate does not control the game rules, their updates or the publishers' decisions: changes to the game or to items, resets, server mergers or closures, discontinuation of the game. Outside the cases covered by the 7-day guarantee (point 8), we do not refund an account affected by such a decision. This rule does not limit the rights the law grants you.

After delivery, you are responsible for the use of the account and for compliance with the game rules.

The delivery takes place through Discord, a third-party service subject to its own terms. If Discord is unavailable, point 6 applies.

Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you derive from mandatory consumer protection rules.

12. Fair use

• Pay with a payment method that you hold or are authorized to use, and buy with your own Discord account.
• If a payment is disputed, Space Syndicate may send your bank or the payment provider evidence of the order and of the delivery: consents, timestamps, ticket messages.
• In the event of fraud, Space Syndicate may refuse an order and exclude its author from the Space Syndicate Discord server.

13. Personal data

Your data is processed as described in our privacy policy. Your Discord ID is never copied into the Shopify order. Your acceptance of these Terms is recorded in your private sale file, with its date, its time and the version of the Terms accepted, to keep proof of it.

14. Complaints, mediation and governing law

For any complaint, first write in your ticket or to charles@w4d0.fr. We reply in writing.

W4D0 is in the process of joining a consumer mediation scheme; its contact details will be given here as soon as membership is confirmed. In the meantime, send any complaint to charles@w4d0.fr.

These Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer residing in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of that country's law. In the event of a dispute, you may bring proceedings, at your choice, before one of the courts having territorial jurisdiction or before the court of the place where you resided at the time the sale was concluded.

15. Changes

We may change these Terms. The version applicable to your order is the one you accepted at the time of your purchase. The date at the top of the page indicates the latest version. The contract is concluded in French.
